Alpha offers limited pickup and delivery services upon request. Contact Jamie Barrus or Linda Bateman for further details. UPS and Federal Express deliver and pick up daily at our plant.
Chemically Cleaning Aluminum
We offer a process to chemically clean aluminum for uses in the electronics and other industries. We have 40+ years of experience in producing chemically clean aluminum parts for use with large scale integrated circuit chips. We also provide chemical cleaning pre-treatment for parts in preparation for aluminum brazing.
Packaging Services
Alpha Metal Finishing is equipped to meet your packaging requirements. Specialty packaging includes furnishing plastic trays for automated assembly, vacuum packaging, and boxes to customer specifications.

Masking and plugging of parts prior to anodizing or chem film is a job that requires precision and patience. In many ways, our team members who perform masking and plugging are like artisans in a craft that requires incredible attention to detail.
Alpha utilizes tape, liquid and solid masking (plugs) techniques when parts require masking for electrical contact, tolerance or aesthetic purposes. From the basic to the more complex part masking job, our experienced team will match your strict specifications.
Plugs are generally utilized to protect “blind” holes, internal threads or bores.

Parts Cleaning
Get It Chemically Cleaned
Alpha Metal Finishing offers a process to chemically clean aluminum for uses in electronics, military, and other industries. Some of the most difficult cleaning or stripping challenges involve removing “stuff” from parts that were painstakingly engineered to remain in place for years no matter what it may run into.
We have 45 years of experience in producing chemically clean aluminum parts for use with large scale integrated circuit chips. We can also provide chemical cleaning pre-treatment for parts in preparation for aluminum brazing. If you need your parts pre-treated prior to painting or powder coating, Alpha can help you with a rapid turnaround time and competitive price.
PTFE Coating
Lubricity for Part Assembly
To provide additional lubricity and chemical resistance, Alpha offers a polytetrafluoroethylene coating, more readily known as PTFE. However, this is not Teflon* impregnation. Within the finishing community there is much debate over whether or not an anodized part can actually be impregnated due to pore size.
Benefits include:
- High chemical resistance
- Low and high temperature capability
- Resistance to weathering
- Low friction
- Electrical and thermal insulation
